Nagoya-based rockers Coldrain have already made their mark in their home country of Japan, and have been building their international footprint with their blistering live shows and since the release of their debut EP 'Through Clarity' throughout the UK and Europe in 2013. Fronted by enigmatic half-Japanese, half-American frontman Masato Hayakawa, the band are now bringing their unique and stylish hard rock sound to the American masses.
Last year, Coldrain released their highly-anticipated new album Vena, which was produced by Brandon Paddock (Papa Roach/Black Veil Brides/The Used). In support of the album, the band made their U.S. debut with two expansive tours supporting both Silverstein (in February of 2016) and Volumes (in October/November of 2015) and expanded their international presence with a hotly-anticipated U.K. headline tour, a month-long EU support run with Bullet For My Valentine, plus epic live sets at the Download Festival and Rock Am Ring / Rock Im Park. The band will continue to invade the U.S on the entire run of this summer's Warped Tour, appearing nightly on the Monster Energy stage.
Their previous studio album, 'The Revelation', released in April of 2013 and produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men) charted at #7 in the Japanese Album Charts, selling more than 10,000 copies in its first week, and was #1 on Japan's Tower Record Chart. The album was released in the U.S, Canada, the U.K. and Europe through Hopeless Records in June 2014, repackaged with several additional new tracks.
