The Protest is a melodic, rock n' roll infused metal band that takes you away from the often-gloomy persona of hard rock and brings a fun energetic flare of life in contrast to anything else in the music scene thus far. The brothers, Josh and Jarob Bramlett, T.J. Colwell, Adam Sadler, and Jesse Hardiek have set out to bring a message of hope and love to the world. The Protest has gone through years of touring, recording, struggles, failures, and victories to find that they are even more passionate about reaching others with the love that Christ has shown them.
Over the years The Protest has been blessed to tour the country and share the stage with many bands such as 12 Stones, Demon Hunter, The Letter Black, Tesla, Jack Russell's Great White, Ashes Remain, and many more. They are also very humbled by the success of their debut album 'Game Changer' that topped many charts worldwide. Their new album, 'Great Lengths', released on December 13, 2014, hit Top 5 on the Billboard Christian Rock National Airplay charts and many other charts, as well. Although they are very grateful for the success, they are realizing each day that it's not about them - and it never has been. It's about God and telling people about him. It's about loving others and showing them Christ in your life. It's about being a servant. The flesh is weak. The human nature of this ministry wants recognition and success, but what is success? Is it having money? Is it being known? As far as recognition goes it should be given to the one who makes all things possible. Jesus.
