If Robert Plant and Jimi Hendrix made love to the sounds of Audioslave, the result might sound a little like Tracer. A sonic sledgehammer of epic guitars, clever hooks, and raw, uncompromising vocals, Tracer’s unique blend of 90’s stoner rock and 70’s classic rock earned them a worldwide following of loyal fans and an international record deal. Rising from the ashes of blues prodigy band The Brown Brothers in 2004, Michael Brown (vocals and guitar) and Leigh Brown (vocals and bass) teamed up with drummer Andre Wise to form Tracer. The following years have seen the trio find success with several independent releases, global tours, and an international recording contract with highly respected Dutch label Mascot Records. The Mascot Label Group released the new album, 'Spaces In Between', in the U.S. on October 9, 2012.
Rising from the ashes of Blues prodigy band The Brown Brothers in 2004, Michael Brown (vocals/guitar) and Leigh Brown (vocals/bass) teamed up with drummer Andre Wise to form Tracer. Over the next several years they released two independent albums, staged multiple international headline tours, and acted as support for numerous international acts. Following their successful first European tour in late 2009, Tracer returned overseas in September 2010 to take a coveted showcase slot at Germany’s new format PopKomm Music Conference in Berlin. The band then set off on a string of dates throughout Germany, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK. Upon returning home, the band went straight into the studio, recording their triumphant debut LP. 'Spaces In Between' features 12 in-your-face songs that will stick in your head and showcase Tracer’s massive musical muscle and talent.
