Following the success of their hard-driving debut single “Overwhelmed,” SEVEN PAST SUNSET, the in-your-face Rock band from Detroit formed in 2017, have a new single and video coming your way.

“Need” was remixed by famed producer/engineer Chuck Alkazian, (Pop Evil/Soundgarden/Tantric). The video was filmed in Michigan at the iconic Silver Lake Sand Dunes by producer/director Drake Whelton of White Knuckle Films.

Before Seven Past Sunset came to be, the band's vocalist Dustin Hites had his own successful solo career performing across the country, while guitarist Johnny Krill was on hiatus from his previous band, Breaking Grace.

The two connected when Johnny’s former booking agent caught Dustin’s show and was so impressed called Johnny to take a listen. The following week the two got together and decided to join forces, combine their catalog of songs and began rehearsing. They came up with seven tracks they recorded at Soup Can Studios in Detroit, with producer and engineer, Andy Patalan (Sponge/Taproot/Ted Nugent). Their self-titled debut album was mixed and mastered in late 2018 at SLR Studios, in Windsor, Canada by Martin Bak (No Resolve/Ghost Of August/Autumn Kings).

The studio lineup was filled out by Brandon Gill on drums and Randy Johnson on bass, however after the recordings were completed, auditions were conducted to find a dynamic backing band to join 7PS full-time. That’s where Jeremy Rober, formerly of Johnny's band Breaking Grace, fit in on bass/vocals and finally, the last piece of the puzzle was to recruit local drum sensation Scottie Vining, formerly of the band In Theory.

Now, SEVEN PAST SUNSET have unleashed the single and video, "NEED", the next chapter in their ongoing saga, and will be touring the U.S. extensively in 2020.
